The Reborn Ex-Wife's Comeback

Han Hongyun was born and raised in a village. From childhood, she was taught that there was no point in girls getting an education; once she grew up, all she needed to do was find a good man and marry him. She barely finished junior high and married at nineteen. At twenty, she gave birth to a daughter. With the country enforcing family-planning policies in the 1980s, she had to make sure there would be no more children. Her mother-in-law, who favored boys over girls, spent every day poisoning her son Wang Jun against Han Hongyun. Wang Jun, an ordinary worker, became arrogant after being promoted to workshop supervisor. He mistreated Han Hongyun and their daughter while carrying on with Lin Li, a woman from the workshop. After Lin Li gave birth to Wang Jun's son, Han Hongyun was forced to divorce him. Decades of struggling to get by with her daughter took their toll, and she died young. Reborn at the moment she gave birth to her daughter, Han Hongyun resolves to stay away from scumbags and earn plenty of money to raise her child. Is scavenging really so shameful? She soon spots a business opportunity in it. And with Nie Gang supporting her every step of the way, she finds new love as well.
