After the Top-Tier Star Picked Me Up, I Became His Fake Wife

After a thousand years of rain, a bolt of lightning sent Qu Zhiyu tumbling down onto Tao Yuexia's umbrella. She was, after all, a true dragon.

Qu Zhiyu felt she'd disgraced the dignity of dragons, but Tao Yuexia offered her food and lodging, and even helped her get home after she lost her powers!

With the sea right before her eyes, Qu Zhiyu still couldn't find the key to get home. To make matters worse, a fan obsessed with Tao Yuexia secretly photographed her, and Weibo was soon awash with insults.

To preserve Tao Yuexia's public image, Qu Zhiyu had no choice but to become his fake wife. She put on a wedding ring and went shopping with the paparazzi in tow.

The moment a marketing account posted the photos, the comments went wild.

- Don't you think the bride looks way too cold? Even holding hands, they don't look like a couple at all.

- Even someone as handsome, talented, and rich as Tao Yuexia has to be a simp sometimes.

- Wait, she can pull off that expression with a limp? How amazing does this woman's background have to be? Has Tao Yuexia become her kept man?

After the show aired, netizens began to wonder: Is this really the same cold-faced rich young lady from the videos?

During a joint interview, FD asked, “Teacher Tao, if you don't know what flowers Miss Qu likes, how are you supposed to cheer her up?”

Qu Zhiyu replied coolly, “I'm not upset, and I don't like flowers.”

While filming a preview by the sea, Qu Zhiyu changed into her swimsuit and asked seriously, “Tao Yuexia, shouldn't you kiss me?”

After half a glass of fruit beer left her drunk in Tao Yuexia's arms, Qu Zhiyu wrapped her arms around his neck and urged him softly, “Take me home. Now.”

As netizens exclaimed, “That face! That contrast! If Tao Yuexia isn't falling for her, I'll start to wonder if he's even a man!” Tao Yuexia could only think about how to make their act real.

After all, he'd been in love with Qu Zhiyu for nearly a thousand years...
