Spirit Transfer

The Buddha said: “All sentient beings and their myriad illusions arise from the wondrous, perfect mind of the Tathagata.” Corpse-driving is also known as “moving spirits.” Buddhism teaches universal salvation, but have you ever seen a monk drive corpses? Xiangxi corpse-driving, esoteric black magic, the Unborn Venerable Mother, Nanyang curses, Japanese shikigami... Have you heard of them and wondered what they really are? Tree deities, bronze-armored zombies, murderous mother-and-child corpses, human-skin skeletons... How will the little monk guide them to salvation? Mediums who walk between the worlds, the City God, the capricious Mandate of Heaven, the Ten Kings of Hell, red lotus karmic fire... Do these strange folk tales really exist? Reincarnated arhats, true and false arhats, the birth of a holy child, the Sea of the Underworld, golden relics... Unimaginably eerie scenes, the long-lost ancestor of the Zhang family, and four clans guarding the relics... It all seems to be manipulated by an unseen hand, with utter indifference. The little monk’s path ahead seems perilous, and his mission to save all beings is fraught with hardship. Yet, as the many truths slowly come to light, Kong Kong makes a shocking decision...
