Synopsis of Jin Bi Dian Long Ji, the wuxia novel by Wolong Sheng:

Young scholar Yu Xiufan chance upon the tutelage of Ai Jiuling, the “Golden Pen Hero.” The combined power of ten eminent Shaolin monks cleanses and transforms his body, while the Heavenly Sword Manual teaches him the art of “Sword Mastery,” in which sword and body become one. He becomes the greatest swordsman in the land. To avert an impending catastrophe in the martial world, the young hero leaves his mountain retreat and ventures into the jianghu. He breaks into the Five Venom Sect and explores the Xuanji Palace, where he meets the heroine Shui Yan’er. Dressed in a pristine white gown with a short sword at her waist, she has rosy cheeks, red lips, and a willow-slim waist. Her beauty is dazzling and captivating, her every movement radiating allure and stirring desire. She casts a bewitching glance at Yu Xiufan and smiles sweetly. Yet she is the adopted daughter of the City Lord of Creation, the mastermind behind a plot to bring disaster upon the martial world. Shui Yan’er’s swordsmanship is exceptional, but she is still defeated by the young hero. His admirable character wins her over, and she turns against the City Lord of Creation. United by their shared purpose, the two quietly give their hearts to one another and pledge themselves in secret. Together, they enter the City of Creation, a perilous hell on earth, and join forces with the Lady of the Five Venoms, the Golden-Hook Fisherman, Wang Xiang, Wang Shang, Jin Yurong, and other heroes in a deadly battle against its lord. Blades flash, blood flies, and the City Lord of Creation is cut down. At last, a great catastrophe in the martial world is prevented.
