I’m a real zombie, and while working part-time as one in a haunted escape room, I met the bane of my existence, Tao Yan, a real Taoist. I tried to charm and seduce him, but he took me home and made me his experimental guinea pig. Tao Yan’s blood can make me evolve, and it led me to the evil Taoist Priest Jiang. Meanwhile, my dad got into a car accident because my corpse had gone missing. I rushed to the hospital, only to find that Dad was fine, while the rest of my family had close ties to Priest Jiang. Once they realized I was different, my family waited until Dad was out of the house and tried to have Priest Jiang destroy me completely. Tao Yan and I worked together to defeat him, but he threatened that if he died, the Kui would awaken and turn me into a puppet. So we only left him in a vegetative state. To eliminate the threat for good, Tao Yan and I tracked down the Kui and destroyed it despite nearly dying in the process. I turned back into a human, too.
