A Hundred Years of Foolishness

[An urban satire, not urban cultivation, and not urban fantasy]

First, let me make this clear: this book wasn't rushed to a conclusion, nor was it abandoned. At the time, I was confined at home during a lockdown, and I planned to write this many words from the start, because I don't particularly enjoy writing urban fiction. I was in a gloomy mood then, and the idea came to me on a whim, so I wrote this satirical book. It's also a story that uses fantasy as a metaphor for real society, not a work of urban fantasy in the true sense.

About the story: The real experts are among the people, and most of them are in psychiatric hospitals.

Justice and righteousness live in people's hearts!

A lunatic from outer space witnesses the cutthroat nature of business, the cruelty of reality, the drama of life, the greed of human nature, and the unfathomable depths of the human heart.

He's been in and out of the psychiatric hospital three times.

He has the criminal underworld and the authorities dancing in circles!

You bring nothing into this world and take nothing with you. Why rejoice at what you gain, or grieve over what you lose? Life is only a brief century, yet people are utterly foolish and hopelessly ignorant.

Greed! Anger! Delusion! They're all illnesses...

The truth is, everyone in this world has a mental illness. The symptoms are just different, and you simply don't know you're sick.

I dedicate this story to all those living with mental illness, and wish you a speedy recovery!
