Calling it a game doesn't quite do it justice: it's more like a parallel world, with all kinds of character classes. You can chase the thrill of leveling up by killing monsters, or lie flat, spending your days chatting and drinking in peace. The protagonist, Lin Mufeng, is an ordinary corporate drone in the real world. He originally entered the game to earn points that could be exchanged for money in the real world. Unfortunately, he was too timid. When choosing a class, he meant to pick the tank with the biggest health bar, but his finger slipped and he chose an assassin instead. Though he'd picked the wrong class, he figured he might as well make the best of it. Put points into speed as an assassin? Not a chance! In my world, it's all about defense! Then he shocked everyone in the game. “Hey, isn't that slow-moving guy an assassin? How come his health bar is so much longer than mine, and I'm a tank!” “You don't know? That's the shameless assassin known as the disgrace of the class: the tanky assassin!” “I once saw that guy surrounded by more than ten high-damage classes, like warriors and mages. It looked so intense I thought a high-level boss had started a raid!”
