The Thunderbolt Rose

Legend has it that Rose Mound can bring together lovers from the martial world, so many couples come to pray before the tomb. Chai Wugou of the Luofu Sect and Sima Wei of the Diancang Sect also arranged to meet there and swear their vows. Tragically, Wugou was burned across half her face by Sima Jing, who had arrived disguised as Sima Wei. When the Rose Envoy learned what had happened, she decided to heal Wugou's scars. Meanwhile, Xia Tianxiang encountered the Four Ghosts of Qilian on Mount Jiuyi. The ghosts knocked Xia unconscious, but were themselves killed by Lu Yuru of the Kunlun Sect. Lu tried to kill Xia to silence him, but Zhongsun Feiqiong appeared in time, rescued Xia, and drove Lu away. When Xia awoke, he could remember only a woman warrior with a Kunlun Thorn weapon and a black cloak, riding away on a yellow horse. He resolved to find the woman who had saved his life... After Lu Yuru used the Mountain-Pushing Palm to knock Xia Tianxiang off a cliff, Chai Wugou and Sima Wei rescued him and took him to the miracle doctor Sai Hankang for treatment. Zhongsun Feiqiong also brought him a thousand-year-old elixir, and he recovered. Deeply moved by Feiqiong's noble character, Xia leaped off a cliff to prove his love for her. At last, Feiqiong was moved, and the two pledged to marry. But Xia had once sworn before Rose Mound that he would marry whoever had killed the Four Ghosts of Qilian, and it was indeed Lu who had killed them, so he had to honor his oath. Feiqiong then revealed that she was the one who had saved Xia's life, and Lu fled in shame. Elsewhere, the Iron-Crowned Taoist of the Diancang Sect decided to merge with the Qilian Sect to form the Shaking Heaven Sect, declaring himself martial-world alliance leader.
