Was humanity really the only civilization ever born on Earth? It’s a question worth researching, discussing, and pondering.
As human technology continues to advance and grow, the tip of the iceberg of history buried underground for thousands, even tens of thousands, of years has slowly begun to emerge.
More and more archaeological evidence suggests that civilizations on Earth have risen and fallen in cycles. Examples include a 1.7-billion-year-old nuclear reactor discovered in Africa, a footprint on a trilobite, underwater ruins, and the civilizations of Mesopotamia, the Maya, and Sanxingdui, among many others. Whether or not these discoveries are genuine, they all suggest that more ancient and prosperous civilizations may have existed on Earth at some point.
But there is no way to verify the history behind these artifacts and cultures. Archaeologists speculate that humanity may have originated in the vast, mysterious reaches of outer space.
Of course, this theory has no real evidence to support it. After all, the universe is far too vast, and we haven’t even figured out how life works on Earth, let alone how to study other planets.
