The Untamed: Ballad of Qinghe

Thinking of old wounds brings tears to my eyes; each morning, I rise with the sun from Fusang. By the window, I gaze at my books and zither, and hear mighty songs carried into the forbidden palace. Main Character Plotline One: Nie Huaisang: “Shuyao, Shuyao, what do you think of this hairpin? Do you like it? If you do, I’ll give it to you!” Luo Shuyao watched the second young master of the Qinghe Nie Clan, dressed in fine clothes, chatter endlessly at her. Her lovely brows drew together slightly. With an indifferent glance, she continued walking. Seeing her leave, Nie Huaisang hurriedly set down the hairpin and followed after her. Come see how the “I know nothing” master, armed with a folding fan, tries to win the icy beauty who is making waves among the cultivation sects! Late clouds drift over the Liao River as the last sparse rain falls; how lovely to recite poetry and spend the night beneath the moon. The spring breeze parts on the road through Wucheng; here, at last, I find a place of peaceful release. Main Character Plotline Two: Wei Wuyou: “Senior Brother, have you ever regretted it?” Jiang Wanyin: “Wuyou, back then, I truly wanted to protect him. I truly wanted to bring him back to Lotus Pier...” Wei Wuyou: “Can we slowly make up for the time we lost?” Jiang Wanyin: “Yes!!” Everyone in the cultivation world says the young sect leader of the Yunmeng Jiang Clan is famously henpecked. Jiang Cheng only sneers when he hears it. It took him most of his life to win his wife back, so if she ran off again, who would he cry to? Come see the proud little junior sister of Yunmeng and the cool, elegant young uncle join forces with Lan Zhan and Wei Ying to investigate an old mystery! When all the mysteries are unraveled, what will await them? With the tangled grievances of past lives and the present still unresolved, can they remain true to themselves and finally find a happy ending? There is no longer a Highness Linghua of the Celestial Clan in the world. There is only Luo Shuyao of Zhongxia Mountain. One lifetime, one partner. Even after a thousand lifetimes, I would still recognize you at a glance in the vast sea of humanity. I take your hand, and together we admire a land as beautiful as a painting.
