No Crossing [Wen Kexing X Xie Wang]

#A straight ship fanfic, with OOC elements. Please read at your own risk~ Such gentleness was rarely seen on the young man’s face. In Ghost Valley, crowded with demons and monsters, it was a truly astonishing sight. The Scorpion King was briefly distracted, and in that moment, the boy grabbed him by the throat and slammed him to the ground. The young man looked down at the pale, paper-white child, then suddenly smiled. Dressed in red from head to toe, he had features as lovely as a painting and beautiful, delicate lips as red as blood. He seemed even more bewitching than the gorgeous ghosts in the valley. The shallow water barely reached the child’s shoulders, and droplets kept falling from his hair and cheeks. The Scorpion King turned his head. The young man’s red robes burned like flames in his vision. Deep in this valley, where neither sky nor daylight could be seen, that color brought blood, slaughter, death, and the red spider lilies blooming on the far shore to mind. Legend said these flowers bloomed in the underworld, the only scenery along the road to the Yellow Springs. So it was hardly surprising to find them here.
