The Beauty's Misfortune

My younger sister and I looked nearly identical. The year we came of age, our beauty made us famous throughout the capital.

The emperor was delighted and arranged marriages for us to his two sons.

We were to marry on the same day. That day, I begged my sister to switch bridal sedan chairs with me.

She agreed, and I, who was supposed to marry the crown prince, was carried into Prince Yu's residence instead.

I married Prince Yu with a heart full of love, never imagining that on our wedding night, he would leave me and go to his concubine's quarters.
