Remind yourself to be at ease at all times. When you feel at ease inside, you will consume less yourself. When your state of mind changes, you will see the world really differently. The hysterics I once had can gradually become calmer, thanks to my inner growth.
As the saying goes, Buddhist scriptures can calm the mind. The "Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra" is not actually a long piece of Buddhism, but its content is very profound. Through the study of vernacular Chinese and combined with the original Buddhist scriptures, I have a deeper understanding and appreciation of self-cultivation. When we have a prajna heart, we will understand that all the obsessions in the world are just passing clouds. Whether we cannot love or hate to be separated, it is all suffering caused by ourselves. As long as we take it lightly, we will gain peaceful happiness and the breadth of life will expand accordingly.
What is Prajna wisdom? The book tells us that understanding Prajna wisdom is actually not that difficult. Prajna means constantly being discriminating. For example, when others praise us, we feel happy, and when others say that we are not good, we feel resentful. This is the discriminating mind. If we let the wind and waves hit us, I am strolling in the courtyard and treat the gains and losses of honor and disgrace with a normal heart. This is the practice of Prajna wisdom! Indeed, when we play chess, we can feel it. When we win, we feel happy, and when we lose, we are angry. Only we can feel the feeling. If we don't practice enough, in fact, there are wins and losses in chess. Winning is worthy of joy, but losing is not worthy of joy. Failure is the mother of success, the ladder to success, and an experience that objectively reflects one's own problems and positioning. Therefore, we should not distinguish between the essentials of mind position practice!
The Heart Sutra, as a very classic ancient book, has been sought after and read by countless people throughout the ages. But after all, it is a classic masterpiece by the sages, and there are many contents that we cannot understand at once what it means. This book solves this problem very well. The author's detailed annotations and annotations in this book make it effortless for us to read, and we even feel like we can understand it with just a few clicks, like a fish in water. I highly recommend everyone to read this book.
Revealing the truth, uncovering the truth, Polo reveals the truth, Pāṇṭhāna reveals the truth, Bodhisattva reveals the truth.
I have recited the "Heart Sutra" for many years, and there are many things that I don't understand yet. After Master Hsing Yun's explanation, I have clarified a lot, but I still need to understand it deeply.
The Heart Sutra is the core essence of Mahayana Buddhism. A mere hundred words describe the most exquisite Dharma and the best guide to practice. Form is emptiness, and emptiness is form. In the eyes of the master, the Buddha nature that makes all living beings have it all says that all living beings are equal. This must be the case. Without a head, tail, or name, it is just our original face - Prajna. It seems that social classes are unevenly distributed among all living beings, but in fact, the inner immortal true self is our true nature. Reading the Heart Sutra is a process of trying to understand ourselves more, transcending the human world, understanding the origin and destruction of flowers, and the blossoming and falling of flowers.
I haven't finished reading yet [Learned] [laughing] Give me a five-star review first, no number of stars is enough [laughing] [eating melon] [making faces]
Thank you Master Xingyun for sharing your experience
Hearing the stories in it is easy to understand and very useful. It can relieve the difficulties in the heart and make people feel at home. When encountering troublesome things, they can think more openly than before, thus giving them some direction to deal with things. Very inspiring!
Thank you Master Hsing Yun for making the Heart Sutra understandable.
Seeing that all five aggregates are empty☁️, you can overcome all hardships🙏🏻 What is the essence of things? In daily life, we tend to cling to the appearance of things and think that they are real; The "Heart Sutra" tells us that everything is constantly changing and combined by causes and conditions, and there is no absolute, fixed entity. The full name of "Heart Sutra" is "Maha Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra". It is short in length but contains endless wisdom. It is a guiding light for those who are confused in life. "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, walking in the deep Prajnaparamita for a long time, saw that all five aggregates are empty, and survived all hardships." Master Hsing Yun explained that Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva represents a state of enlightenment. Through in-depth practice of Prajna wisdom, one can see that the essence of the five aggregates (form, feeling, thought, action, and consciousness) are all emptiness, thus transcending all pain and suffering. "Color is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from color, color is emptiness, emptiness is color." Master Hsing Yun pointed out that color is not an eternal entity, but the product of the combination of causes and conditions, and its essence is emptiness; emptiness is not nothingness, but contains infinite possibilities, which are manifested through color. Master Hsing Yun encourages people to cultivate inner peace and wisdom and get rid of troubles and pain; Whether you are facing work pressure, interpersonal problems, or facing major life problems such as birth, old age, illness, and death, you can face and solve them with a normal (Prajna) mind. Three core items Here are three key concepts learned in "Siddhartha" and put into practice in life: Fasting: Light fasting means stopping eating within a specific period of time; controlling cravings and initiating autophagy. Reflection: Review thinking, in-depth thinking and review of one's own experiences, behaviors, and thoughts, enhances self-understanding, and grows from experiences and decisions. Patience: Wait calmly, maintain self-control when facing difficulties and uncertainties, stabilize your emotions and maintain confidence, and persevere.
