Unusually Clever and Strategic: Lu Xun

This book tells the story of Lu Xun's life. After losing his father as a child, he joined Sun Quan's camp at the age of twenty-one and went on to serve him, winning many battles and forming deep bonds of comradeship with Lu Meng and Zhuge Jin. After the Battle of Red Cliffs, he repeatedly sought Jingzhou without success, and his military expeditions ended in defeat. In the end, he set a series of interlocking traps that forced Guan Yu to flee to Maicheng. After Lu Su's death, Lu Xun won Sun Quan's trust and favor, was appointed chancellor, and gradually entered the heart of Eastern Wu's power. During the struggle between Sun He and Sun Ba, he was drawn into the conflict between Sun Quan and his sons. He eventually died in dejection, never having fulfilled all his ambitions in life.
