The Virgo War

No supernatural abilities, no golden finger, and nothing else to protect them. All they can rely on are the comrades by their side, the warships behind them, and the weapons in their hands. A century into interstellar colonization, the star gates suddenly go dark, leaving a group of settlers stranded in the Virgo Cluster. Then, during their exploration of space, they encounter intelligent alien life. It is a war between species in which only one side can survive.
