A Strange Citywide Lockdown from the Start, So I Fought My Way Out of the Forbidden Zone

(Inspired by Mysterious Revival, and it starts out that way too) The supernatural returns, and terror descends. No one knows how ghosts are born. No one understands what they mean. When Ye Qingyang transmigrates into an era where vengeful ghosts have returned, unknown horrors seize the entire city overnight. During evening study hall, a man named Zhou Zheng walks in and begins talking about ghosts. Luckily, though, there isn't a student named Yang Jian in the class... Wait, why is there also someone named Yin Jian? On a chilly night, the mysterious and unknown supernatural quietly descends. Ghostly barriers that block the senses, a stiffly smiling ghost mother, a mysterious and terrifying piano melody... Outside, at home, at school... nowhere in the entire city is safe for humanity. A mysterious dream, a dim and empty world. A supernatural entity that imitates him and a shadowy ghost standing behind him are locked in a strange standoff. Just then, a mysterious space calling itself the Institute of Paranormal Research descends once more! Ye Qingyang steps inside, and is met with one good piece of news and one bad one. The good news: he has the right to inherit the position of the institute's administrator. The bad news: because he arrived, enormous numbers of supernatural entities appeared throughout the city overnight.
