Synopsis

[Both leads are faithful + alternate setting + reincarnation + male lead’s personality is a mystery box]

[This story spans two lifetimes]

First life: an insecure male lead and a gentle female lead.

Second life: an ambitious ruler and a princess of a fallen kingdom.

The woman he loved all his life accidentally killed him.

To bring him back to life,

she landed herself the lead role in a tragic romance spanning twelve lifetimes.

(Misery for both leads, with sweet moments. Extremely sweet, but a bad ending.)

After enduring twelve lifetimes,

he asked, “After all those lifetimes, do you still love me?”

She said, “I don’t understand what love is. I only know what devotion is.”

“The devotion of fighting side by side; the devotion of a married couple; the devotion of waiting for a lifetime; the devotion of standing together through life and death; the devotion of choosing only you... All of these are born from the lifetimes we’ve spent together.”

“They are far harder won than love.”

[An independent setting with its own timeline and history]

Look up to the azure sky: her presence fills the clear horizon for thousands of miles.
