My Livestream Is Being Broadcast in the Qing Dynasty

In the ninth month of the forty-seventh year of Kangxi’s reign (1708), Emperor Kangxi deposed Crown Prince Yinreng, citing his lack of benevolence and filial piety and his loss of popular support. Afterward, the eldest prince Yinzhi declared, “If we kill Yinreng, there’s no need for Father to do it himself.” The Eighth Prince Yinsi commanded a powerful faction, while the Third Prince Yinzhi was implicated in “the Lama’s curse against the Crown Prince.” Already tormented by the crown prince’s deposition, Emperor Kangxi was dealt a heavy blow and grew increasingly frail. The princes continued to fight over the throne, turning against their own brothers. One day, a “miracle” appeared in the sky. “Hello, everyone. As a history buff, I’m boldly going live today to talk about a few things from the Qing dynasty.” Everyone in the Qing dynasty: ??? What’s wrong with us? “We all know the Qing dynasty is called the darkest dynasty in history, nailed to the pillar of historical shame.” Kangxi and the princes: How dare you! The ministers: What manner of demoness is this, spreading such absurd lies? “Speaking of Emperor Kangxi, he captured Oboi and put down the Three Feudatories in his early years, so he could be considered a wise ruler. Unfortunately, in his later years he grew muddleheaded and debauched. His only real fault was living too long.” Kangxi spat blood. The princes: Imperial Father! A few notes: 1. This story is for entertainment only and has nothing to do with reality. 2. I’m not a history expert, and everything is based on my own understanding, so my views may not be entirely objective or comprehensive. 3. This all takes place in a parallel timeline, and differs greatly from reality! I’m just making things up as I go. I’ll write as much as inspiration allows.
