Love in Stoppage Time

Fa Ning and Huan Yu grew up in the same alley. They were childhood sweethearts, innocent and carefree, but the two of them were childhood sweethearts who spent their time climbing onto roofs and tearing them apart. Whenever they met, they fought, right up until graduating from high school and going their separate ways. Last month, Fa Ning was preparing her final graduate thesis and started an internship at Huan Tian Hospital, part of the Huan family’s business. One night, Huan Yu got drunk and injured himself. A shard of a broken bottle cut his little guy. Fa Ning, a specialist in minimally invasive surgery, personally took the scalpel to him. She shaved him, sprayed him with alcohol, and didn’t use anesthesia. What a satisfying revenge! She had finally let out the resentment she’d bottled up for twenty years. And so the story begins.
