Film and TV Crossover: She Was Born to Be a Beloved Consort

A transmigration story set in the Qing dynasty, with a transmigrator versus a former transmigrator. Sounds a little confusing, right? Lin Beiyue thought so at first, too. Then the Lady Meng who bound her to the System explained: many people here had lost the fate and fortune that should have been theirs to transmigrators. Most of those transmigrators were heroines who had come from worlds with rapidly advancing technology. Armed with golden fingers and the halo of a Mary Sue heroine, they cut a swath through everything in their path and won over one male lead after another. But their arrival changed the course of the world and tampered with other people’s fate, completely transforming their lives. The lucky ones might lose only a marriage match or their family’s prospects. The unlucky ones met tragic ends, and couldn’t even rest in peace after death. They hadn’t known their fates had been tampered with. Only after arriving here did they realize they never should have met such an end. Their resentment kept them from entering the cycle of reincarnation. As time passed and parallel timelines fell into chaos, resentment piled up at Lady Meng’s place. So Lin Beiyue had to change these people’s fates and help them cross the Bridge of Helplessness in peace.
