By chance, a general of the Yan Kingdom rescues a little fox demon on the brink of death. He thinks it’s just the usual tale of a damsel repaying her savior with her hand in marriage, never realizing that they have actually reunited after thousands of years.
Having lost their memories of their past lives, the two meet again under new identities and appearances. They come to know and love each other, and somehow, the promise they failed to fulfill in their previous lives is given a second chance.
Bound by the chains of their past and present lives, the general, corrupted by an evil sword, stands with eyes blood-red. The little fox demon rushes up to him as he stands amid a heap of corpses and holds him tight. The general, who had been blinded by bloodlust, gradually calms down.
His reason slowly returns. No, he has already made the wrong choice once. He must not make the same mistake again. Whether he is Jiang Minghe or He Jingchen, he can never let go of his little fox again!
