I don't know why, but lately I've been really into stories set in a bygone era, especially ones about transmigration. Transmigrating into a book is fine too. I read one about a soft-hearted freeloader and a green-tea schemer and really loved it. It felt so real, but it's still being updated. Ladies, any more recommendations? No stories where they get a pocket dimension and supplies like a supermarket, though.
