The Bird Came to Visit

Translated as: The Migratory Bird Was Just Passing Through. He didn’t belong here, so he flew away in the end.

[Childhood sweethearts + well-matched families + mutual love + redemption + cycles + tragic ending]

In the silent world of Song Yuncheng, Jiang Mengyu was the one voice that rang out loudest.

She was when they were children, and even more so when they grew up.

He wanted to stay by her side and protect her for the rest of his life.

But he was sick, very sick.

He knew he wouldn’t live long.

So time and time again, he pushed her away.

He knew she would be heartbroken and cry bitterly.

But he couldn’t hear her.

And he wouldn’t live long.

If every meeting only pushes you both toward an even more distant abyss,

would you still go to see the person you long for, the one who appears in your dreams every night?
