Traditional Chinese medicine osteopathy is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine. It has been widely spread among the Chinese people for thousands of years, and has relieved the pain of many bone injuries for the working people. Traditional Chinese medicine osteopathy is simple to use, easy to use, and has obvious curative effects. Therefore, it has been spread for thousands of years and remains popular for a long time. In the 1950s, the Party's TCM policy called for Western medicine practitioners to learn TCM from the motherland's medical heritage. The hospital leaders selected me, Li Zongmin, and Han Zhihong to transfer to the Department of TCM to study TCM. I was fortunate to be exposed to the basic theories of TCM, including TCM internal medicine, TCM ophthalmology, TCM orthopedics, acupuncture, massage, massage, and bone setting, and participated in the clinical practice of diagnosis and treatment in various TCM disciplines, which was renamed as a general TCM practice. Since then, I have been engaged in TCM clinical work for more than 60 years, and I have a relatively detailed understanding of "TCM osteopathy". In the mid-1970s, at the request of others, I co-wrote and published the book "Traditional Chinese Medicine Bone-setting Techniques". More than 40 years have passed. During these 40 years of changes, I have accumulated a lot of new theoretical experience and treatment experience. On this basis, I came up with the idea of ​​​​organizing and creating "Traditional Chinese Medicine Bone-setting Techniques" to do my best to discover and inherit the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Bone-setting Techniques" in the traditional medicine of the motherland. Chinese medicine is a great treasure house that should be explored and improved. Doing a good job summarizing and sorting out the experience of veteran Chinese medicine practitioners is of great significance for inheriting and carrying forward the medical heritage of the motherland, accelerating the pace of integrating traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and better serving the majority of patients. Although medicine has developed to atomic medicine today, it does not seem to be in line with the requirements of today's era to promote the osteopathic techniques of those "bonesmiths". But I think that TCM treatment of fractures, as well as some of its treatment principles and guiding ideas, do have its own uniqueness. For this reason, even though I have entered an old age, I am still writing hard books to record the methods and experiences of "Illustrated TCM Osteopathic Techniques" and pass them on to future generations for research, application and development.
