Atlas of Traditional Chinese Medicine

"Atlas of Traditional Chinese Medicine" is based on the national-level planning textbooks and has been systematically organized and constructed. It strives to present the essence of traditional Chinese medicine, attaches great importance to inheritance and development, tradition and modernity, and the combination of theory and clinical practice. It has standardized conceptual expressions, reasonable structural design of the teaching materials, novel layout formats, matching pictures and text, and updates at the same time. Part of the content has been added, and some new knowledge and achievements in the discipline of traditional Chinese medicine have been added, so that the scientific nature, inheritance, advancement, inspiration and teaching adaptability of the teaching materials have been improved to varying degrees compared with previous teaching materials. It actively promotes the introduction of high-quality educational resources into the classroom to facilitate the use of teaching staff and the learning of students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and other majors. When specifically compiled, in order to conform to the development trend of internationalization of Chinese medicine education, this textbook added important Chinese medicine terms and English translations of some commonly used Chinese medicine terms to enhance students' familiarity with professional Chinese medicine English vocabulary and facilitate international exchanges and English paper writing. The biggest feature of this textbook is that it attempts to publish Chinese Materia Medica in the form of courseware. It is equipped with pictures of plants, medicinal materials, and decoction pieces of 500 commonly used Chinese medicines. The core contents such as properties, taste, efficacy, clinical applications, and drug comparisons are presented in PPT form. It also includes the pinyin, English name, pharmaceutical name, and Latin name of each Chinese medicine, with both pictures and text, which greatly facilitates students in traditional Chinese medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and other majors to learn Chinese medicine.
