Siheyuan: Transmigrate to a Famine Year and Turn the Tables on the Simps!

(A cast of schemers + lighthearted comedy + no grimdark) He discovers that he has transmigrated to 1958. In just three months, the Great Famine of 1959 will begin. So Li Ze puts the knowledge he learned in the modern world to use, building insulated greenhouses with glass roofs to grow vegetables and fruit. He digs a cellar to store food. He tears off the roof and turns it into a vegetable garden, raising poultry to support his family. He does everything he can to stock enough supplies in three months to survive the famine. But as Li Ze works to get through the famine, the residents of the courtyard keep throwing obstacles in his way. So Li Ze renovates his little garden while matching wits with the courtyard residents. When the famine finally hits, everyone in the courtyard panics. Qin Huairu: Li Ze, please, save your big sister. I'll do anything for you. Silly Zhu: Li Ze, for old times' sake, since we've been at each other's throats since we were kids, I mean, since we grew up playing together, give me a steamed bun. Xu Damao: I'm starving to death. Li Ze, I'll get down on my knees. Please give me something to eat...
