Once a unified realm, the land was divided into two cities after countless wars. Whoever possessed the jade could rule the realm, since it allowed its owner to command the armies of both cities.
He Leisi of Imperial City intended to pass his position as city lord to He Che and ordered him to find the jade. Luo Ke of Flower City was bent on unifying the realm, but never imagined that his most beloved daughter would turn against him for He Che.
He Che fell in love with Xiang Xi at first sight. After spending many days together, Xiang Xi finally understood her own heart when she learned He Che was to marry the eldest princess of Flower City. The two went through a tangle of love and conflict, but eventually ended up together.
“I may betray the whole world, but I will never betray you.”
“He Che, I have never betrayed you.”
The two decided to search for the jade together and ultimately unite the realm.
