Zhang Jingzhong, computer scientist and mathematician, was born in Henan on December 30, 1936. Graduated from the Department of Mathematics and Mechanics of Peking University in 1959. Researcher and honorary director of the Chengdu Institute of Computer Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and director of the Educational Software Research Institute of Guangzhou Normal University.
