A Story That Starts with He and Ends with Be

Angst-Fests, Any Gender Is Fine, Just Make It Heartbreaking, I Love Tragic Endings

I’m not particularly picky, but I love books that are as angsty as possible. I love childhood friends losing out to someone who just appeared, one person losing their memory while the other is consumed by grief, and substitute romances. I don’t care about the protagonists’ genders, as long as it’s angsty. Thanks!
