Zhang Chi was an utterly ordinary college student, until the detonation of a virus bomb completely destroyed his life. The zombie crisis struck, and he was infected instead of surviving. Fortunately, he retained his sanity. The world is in turmoil, order teeters on the brink of collapse, the mastermind behind the scenes emerges, and factions vie to take the stage in this new era. This is a story set in the age of great evolution. Monsters run rampant, humanity struggles to survive, and the question remains: what will become of the world? This is the story of Zhang Chi, who begins as a lowly zombie and grows stronger through evolution. He retains his humanity, despises evil, and, despite his reclusive nature, deeply values his bonds with others. The protagonist always considers himself a zombie and treats every life-form equally. He has never planned to integrate into human society. His goal is to build a monster dynasty with its own biological order. (Disclaimer: The protagonist will often cooperate with humans in the novel because he needs their intelligence. That doesn't mean he abandons his own stance.
