Journey to the West: I Won't Be a Monkey, Starting from Birth

By a twist of fate, I became Sun Wukong inside the immortal stone? Sun Wukong? That name doesn’t sound good. It’s unlucky: in the end, all that enlightenment amounts to nothing? Wouldn’t that make all my efforts pointless? Am I supposed to put up with that? I spent five hundred years crushed beneath Five Elements Mountain, and they thought they could buy my freedom with my wages. Ha, how naive. If Heaven hadn’t given birth to me, Sun Baiyi, the Dao would have been shrouded in darkness for eternity. Ahem, I’m showing my true colors. Everyone, don’t believe those rumors. Ask around the Heavenly Court. I, Sun Hao, am all about keeping my word. I’m one of the Heavenly Court’s three outstanding young immortal representatives, and I have a reputation to uphold. You can count on me! The Journey to the West is long, and the sly monkey takes up half the road. What are you waiting for? Hurry up and open the book.
