A Love Between a Lord and a Fox

A fictionalized historical setting with fantasy elements. Jiang Luan (a fox demon: outgoing, sunny, and dramatic on the surface, but actually calculating and ruthless, preferring to act rather than talk. After meeting Shen Junxi, he becomes gentle and eloquent, a “gentleman” who would rather talk than fight) × Shen Junxi (master of Tianya Pavilion: refined and mild-mannered on the surface, but decisive and ruthless in his actions) As the son of a thousand-year-old fox demon, Jiang Luan inherited a thousand-year demon core, which greatly increased his cultivation and made him king of the foxes. But the core also attracted the greed of many factions. After a scheming black fox forced him to leave his clan, he went to the human world. While fleeing from pursuing Taoist priests, he met Shen Junxi. As they spent time together, Shen Junxi touched his ears and tail, and Jiang Luan fell for him, convinced he was the one fate had destined for him. He kept proposing, but Shen Junxi stared at him in astonishment, fear showing on his face. He had never even considered marriage and couldn’t adjust to Jiang Luan’s sudden change, so he had no choice but to part ways with him. After they separated, a chance encounter led Jiang Luan to take a side job as a general. Later, while escorting weapons, he ran into Shen Junxi, who had come to rob the shipment. They met again as old acquaintances who no longer recognized each other. Jiang Luan studied his face for a long time, a wicked smile flickering across his lips. At first, he was drawn to the natural spiritual power Shen Junxi possessed and planned to kill him to seize it. He never imagined that this was the person he had been yearning for all along. He tried every trick in the book to win him over… And so began his pursuit of his beloved…
