Technology Blockade? No Problem, I'll Step In!

The Tower Nation unveiled a new generation of fighter aircraft. Faced with this invisible pressure, people across the country felt an inexplicable sense of oppression. For days, the news repeatedly trended: our country's technology still lagged behind the Tower Nation's. Just as everyone online was analyzing ways to respond in the future, a man named Liu Yu stepped forward. “Fighter jets? They're already obsolete. The new era belongs to mecha, doesn't it? Don't worry, folks. I've got this!” As soon as he posted this, countless netizens took notice. “I'm dying of laughter. Who does he think he is, saying he's got this? Can he even do one plus one?” “Is he one of those amateur scientists? They really do produce geniuses. What good would you be if you stepped in?” “Which hospital let this guy out?” “…” As more and more people mocked him online, the man named Liu Yu never logged on again. Then, a month later, the official news outlet of the Divine Land Nation released an announcement. “Taking a different approach, our country has made a breakthrough in the field of mecha with the assistance of Academician Liu Yu. We hereby announce that Academician Liu Yu will serve as chief engineer of our country's first-generation combat mecha.” Netizens everywhere: “Is this really the same Liu Yu we know????”
