Pokémon Kingdom: Starting with Shaolin Gua Gua

Kingdom of Rock is a game from childhood. On a whim, 20-year-old Lin Xuan opened up a window into his childhood memories. “Awakened Archangel! What the heck, it can awaken in the middle of a battle?” “Damn, I've only got a level 53 Ancient War Dragon and a level 50 Royal Griffin. How am I supposed to win?” Realizing just how far behind the times he was, Lin Xuan finally smoked a cigarette and signed off in defeat. That's right: refusing to admit defeat, he'd chosen to go head-to-head, only to get taught a lesson by the Spirit Kings. (If I remember right, fighting the Awakened Archangel back then meant going up against the Spirit Kings.) After getting thrashed by the Spirit Kings, Lin Xuan decided to bully the pets from his old days and catch some of the rare spirits he'd once known. And then there were his regrets: Shaolin Gua Gua, whom he'd trained for who knew how long; the little unicorn sleeping in the Unicorn Trail; “Little Cutie,” exercising at home; Vulcan, stationed at the farm... After reminiscing, he could only marvel at how quickly time had passed. Lin Xuan ended his trip down memory lane and decided to go buy dinner. As expected, the unexpected happened. “Huh?? Why can't I exit?” Lin Xuan clicked the exit button with his mouse, but nothing happened. “Ah!!” The computer burst into a brilliant white light. Lin Xuan opened his eyes. Before him stood an old rabbit with an immortal's bearing, dressed in Daoist robes, holding a horsetail whisk and stroking his white beard. Beside him was a young rabbit. A new author is here! I'm writing this story to make up for the regrets of the past. It focuses on the old spirits, with the new spirits in supporting roles (mainly because I haven't played the game anymore).
