A World Overturned: Snowfall and Reincarnation

Like a duckweed drifting through life, as the land falls to ruin, even if I become a demon, I will break the cycle of reincarnation and bring you back. On Red Plum Ridge, snowflakes drift down. You are descended from the Snow God, and I will not let you leave. What does it matter if I slay gods and slaughter Buddhas? As I descend into demonic cultivation, you awaken. Why did you make a wish at the Three Lives Stone to atone for my sins? Why did you gouge out your own eyes, only to trade them for a fate in which we meet across three lifetimes but can never be together again?
