Jiangling High School, beneath the ginkgo tree
Xu Wen Yin smiled gently at the boy, her dimples captivating. “Yuan Wuxu, you don’t know this, but you’re like a little sun. You make me feel like every day ahead will be wonderful.”
Yuan Wuxu shook his head gently. “Sister Yin Yin, you don’t know this either, but you’re my sun, too.”
“Hahaha, a sun? You two are so ridiculously dramatic! Hey, Yuan Wuxu, don’t act all serious and get so sentimental. Hahaha, you’re killing me, Prince Charming!” Lu Chuan laughed so hard he clutched his stomach and could barely stand upright.
“You’re laughing at other people? You’re the most ridiculous one here,” Wei Yueyue said, angrily tugging at his ear.
Yuan Wuxu grabbed Lu Chuan, angrily hooked an arm around his neck, and forced his head down. Gritting his teeth, he said, “Brother Chuan, if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. Sister Yin Yin and I are just close.”
Xu Wen Yin’s face turned bright red.

They say love rises with the wind, but who can ever catch the wind?
“Xia Ye, let’s get engaged. Let me protect you from now on, okay?”
Chen Yan took her wrist, his charming fox eyes full of sincerity.
But he didn’t move her. She didn’t even turn to look at him.
Xia Ye shook off his hand and said coolly, “This is pointless. You know we were only having fun.”
Her eyes were slightly red, but they shone with determination. “Besides, I don’t need anyone to protect me.”
