After faking her death, Jun Han went through many things. Among them was that young man, the only variable in her long life that she could never control.
“This disciple only wishes for Senior Sister to live in peace and happiness.” Looking at the tenderness in the young man's eyes, Jun Han wondered if there had ever been a moment when she felt reluctant. After all, she had personally chosen that tragic ending for him...
At first, she had picked up a child. After she saved the boy once, he stuck to her like glue, impossible to shake off. Wherever she went, he was always right behind her, appearing wherever she looked.
Jun Han had thought he was a well-behaved, sensible junior brother. As long as he did as he was told, there was no harm in keeping him by her side. Then he came of age, and just as Jun Han thought her work was done and it was time to retire, that night he knelt before her, his eyes brimming with adoration.
The young man's eyes reddened at the corners. His deep gaze seemed to look straight into her heart as he gently kissed her ankle and whispered her name.
Later, he knelt at the foot of a temple mountain, begging the heavens to let him see her once more, but no matter how hard he searched, he could never find her again.
“Senior Sister, turn around and look at me. I'm no worse than him...”
It's clearly written so wonderfully, why isn't it popular 😢
Overall it's pretty good, but the ending made me cry to death. Maybe there were too many happy endings, and I couldn't accept it when I met be, but it's deep enough to have regrets.
