Tomb Raiding: From the Start, I Became Zhang Dafoye’s Son

[No Female Lead + Original Characters + Slow-Paced + Tomb Raiding]

My name is Xiao Ping’an, though my full name is Zhang Yichen. I’m the son of Zhang Dafoye, the Defense Commissioner of Changsha and head of the Nine Gates. My mother says I was able to be born because my godfather, Er Yuehong, gave her a pill for his daughter, Yiyao. Ever since I was little, my mother has told me I must always listen to Yiyao. Growing up, the only thing I feared was Yiyao; nothing else could frighten me. Just hearing my name in Changsha was enough to make people quake in their boots. Then, when I was six, something called the System bound itself to me. It told me this world was based on a book called The Grave Robbers' Chronicles. Yiyao and I were never supposed to be born. In the book, my parents never had children, my godmother died years earlier, and the entire Nine Gates was manipulated into ruin… I will never let that happen. I’ll protect everything I hold dear…

Warning: The story diverges from the original, and some of the plot is new. Also, the male lead is just a little kid at first, and a really ill-behaved brat who doesn’t know any better!!!
