(Ghosts + Supernatural + Ambitious, Career-Driven Female Lead + No Romance + System + Livestream)
That year, on the fifteenth day of the seventh lunar month, countless malevolent ghosts were stranded in the mortal world, roaming everywhere and bringing disaster. Everyone lived in fear.
An organization dedicated to purging ghosts arose in response.
One day, Wen Zhi was invited to join an operation to exterminate malevolent ghosts in Xicheng. The appearance fee was one hundred thousand yuan, and she was tempted. Her family had nothing to its name.
At first, she only wanted to show her face and collect the fee. Who knew the entire operation would be livestreamed?
Ghost hunting was dangerous, and just as Wen Zhi wanted to back out, she was bound to a money-grubbing ghost-hunting System. Catching a wandering spirit earned her just one hundred yuan; catching a low-level ghost earned her a mere thousand.
Wen Zhi: "Thanks for asking, but I'd make more waiting tables, and it wouldn't put my life at risk."
"Won't you at least think it over?"
The System brought up its price list, framed with colorful flourishes. In golden letters, it announced: One immortal-level malevolent ghost: one million yuan.
Below that were the prices for ghosts of other ranks: five thousand for low- to mid-level, ten thousand for mid-level, one hundred thousand for mid- to high-level, and five hundred thousand for high-level.
Thinking of her mother's illness, she gritted her teeth and forced out a smile. "Actually, I suppose I can think it over."
But the viewers weren't having it. They had placed such high hopes on her, the granddaughter of the renowned ghost-hunting master Wen Buzhi, only to find she was useless and couldn't do a thing. Deeply disappointed, they grabbed their keyboards and tore into her.
Then, after a malevolent ghost dragged her away, the viewers felt guilty and mourned her in droves.
Yet the woman everyone thought was dead somehow became a public official in the Underworld. After fighting her way back, she was a changed person, and taking down ghosts was as easy as slaughtering chickens...
After the livestream ended, the once-declining Wen family returned to its former glory overnight. Don't ask: Wen Zhi had found the secret to getting rich.
It could be too short. In the past, when the heroine was weak, I was anxious to death, but when the heroine was strong, the space was very short [crying]
Personally, I think the plot is very good, the characters are portrayed in a humorous way, and the system appears just right. I highly recommend it! ! !
It's nice to watch, but it ends too early and it's not enough [I'm about to cry]
It's really good, Xiao Shuangwen
No CP, not scary, the story is quite coherent, and the ending is quite hasty.
It's very interesting, but why don't you continue writing?
It's a bit short and I didn't see enough.
It's so good, I enjoyed watching it in one sitting
Author, you are so short!
It's very interesting. It's a different ghost hunting live broadcast. It's not scary at all, but it's very interesting. From a ghost-hunting novice to a bad guy, he has grown up very quickly.
