Hey, Handsome, Wait for Me

A sports meet, an accident. He began to notice her, and she began to fall for him. From then on, a petite, adorable figure stayed by his side. From then on, a ray of light entered her world. Ji Li loved Zhu Mo, and it wasn't just a passing fancy. It was the kind of love she wanted to last a lifetime. Scene One: "Hey, wait for me!" Ji Li spotted her Zhu Mo from far away and hurried after him. Zhu Mo glanced back at Ji Li but showed no sign of stopping. He just kept walking. Ji Li ran up beside Zhu Mo and slowed her hurried steps to match his. Walking shoulder to shoulder, she chattered away like a sparrow, not caring whether the person beside her was listening. Scene Two: "Hey, wait for me!" From a distance, Ji Li saw a girl staring intently at Zhu Mo, and a flare of anger rose in her heart. Zhu Mo slowed for a moment, then continued walking. Ji Li ran up to Zhu Mo, shot the girl a glance, steeled herself, grabbed Zhu Mo's hand, and hurried away with him. Scene Three: "Hey, wait for me!" Ji Li finished tying her shoelaces and looked at the boy ahead, who hadn't waited for her. "I thought you didn't want to walk with me anymore," Zhu Mo explained. "But don't worry. I'll wait for you. You waited for me through three years of your youth. Now it's my turn to wait for you." Ji Li stood rooted to the spot, stunned. Shock, excitement, joy, and relief mingled in her heart, because she understood the deeper meaning behind his words.
