My Husband's Full of Tricks, So This Princess Wants a Divorce

[Versatile and commanding eldest princess who can be sweet or aloof * gentle consort with a hidden dark side]

[Set in an imagined world]

The domineering Princess Li Yi falls in love at first sight with Han Xian, a top scholar from a humble family.

Li Yi secures an imperial decree arranging their marriage.

They are the envy of all, a perfect match blessed by the heavens.

But...

Three years into their marriage, a palace coup leaves Li Yi's position in tatters. She never imagined that, in his eyes, everything she did was wrong.

“Han Xian, let's divorce. You take the sunny road, I'll take the narrow path, and we won't interfere in each other's lives. How does that sound?”

Han Xian loves Li Yi's eyes, yet hates them too, because in them he sees his own wretched, lowly soul, as well as Li Yi's innate arrogance.

“Ah Yi, what do you think you are now?”

“Ah Yi, trust me. I won't hurt you. If you'll let me, I'll help you.”

Every word he says leaves Li Yi unable to refuse. Her voice trembling, she can only answer, “All right.”

After Han Xian puts an end to the turmoil across the land, Li Yi lets go of everything and gives him what he wants. But what she never expected is that Han Xian never intended to let her go.

“Han Xian, if you don't let go, I'll spill my blood right here.”

“Ah Yi, look at me just once more.”

“Han Xian! Have you gone mad?”

“Yes. Even if it means eternal damnation, Ah Yi must never let go of my hand.”

His body covered in blood, he holds her hand. Ah Yi thinks it is burning hot.
