Bleach: I Have the Worst Job in the World

After the sacrifices and suffering of the “Amusement Park Battle,” Heaven and the human world enjoyed a brief period of peace and quiet. Yet the forces lurking in the darkness continued to grow stronger. An unexpected incident at an ordinary school opened the curtain on everything. It also made Mors, the grim reaper devoted to protecting human souls, realize that the true threat was only just beginning to arrive… ※ Clad in a black robe with bones for a body, cold in both word and deed, and prone to complaining, the grim reaper nevertheless has a warm heart unlike his appearance. What kind of past lies hidden beneath his disguise? Faced with threats and dangers lurking in the darkness, how will he protect the safety of human souls? ※ I am the grim reaper, and I have the worst job in the world. I have to watch every person die, because I must guide their soul to where it belongs. Perhaps you think I enjoy death, but that is an utterly ridiculous idea. The decision has never been mine to make. I am forbidden from interfering in the process of anyone's death, because that would disrupt the natural order. Whether they die of old age, illness, accident, suicide, or murder, everything is predetermined. Yet people mistakenly blame me for it all, thinking I can decide whether they live or die. Nothing could be more absurd. This is absolutely the worst job in the world.
