There's an Ocean in My Heart

Gu Cheng once said, “Hope is eternal. Even when wounded, you still throw yourself into it without hesitation.”

I, too, am waiting for someone to arrive. I don’t know what she looks like, but I know she’ll be standing on an island, gazing out toward me just as I gaze toward her. I’ll walk up to her and embrace her.

So I stayed here, waiting for that person to come.

My name is Zhang Yuan. This is my story.
