The structure of the human body is complex and precise. A seemingly simple movement requires the cooperation of many systems of the human body to complete. Therefore, only by understanding the mechanism of human movement can we exercise and train more healthily and scientifically. Dynamic Human Anatomy was written by Professor William C. Whiting, who has more than 30 years of teaching experience in biomechanics and human anatomy courses. It aims to provide coaches, teachers in the sports industry, and students majoring in sports with a systematic basic theoretical system of human movement.
Dynamic Human Anatomy not only explains in detail the anatomical knowledge of bones, joints, muscles involved in human movement, but also provides an in-depth analysis of the concepts of motion mechanics, fluid mechanics, joint mechanics and other motion mechanics in the human body, as well as the muscle control mechanism of motion and motion evaluation methods. In addition, this book also explores the concepts and theories of basic motion patterns such as the types and functions of posture and balance, the mechanism of posture control, walking and running gaits, and basic movement types such as jumping, kicking, throwing and swinging. On this theoretical basis, various aspects of sports-related applications are discussed, including strength and conditioning training applications, sports and dance applications, and ergonomics applications. It is dedicated to deciphering the secrets of human body movement for readers and providing guidance on basic theory and practical applications.

This book is great! The author, Professor Whiting, is experienced and the content in the book is detailed and systematic, covering aspects such as human anatomy and sports mechanics. I particularly like its analysis of basic movement patterns, which is very practical. However, I kind of hate the complicated diagrams in the book, they seem a bit laborious. Overall, this is a very valuable book that will be helpful to coaches, teachers, and students alike.
