Wen Yan, who suffers from a psychological disorder that causes violent outbursts, meets the light of his life at a psychiatric hospital.
From that first meeting, those eyes, bright as stars, are imprinted on Wen Yan's heart and never fade.
Scene one: Lan Xi's distinctive monocle rests on Wen Yan's face. Her fingers trace the high bridge of his nose, then stop at his thin lips. “I'll let you show off just this once,” Lan Xi whispers.
As she speaks, Lan Xi gives a gentle push, pinning Wen Yan in her arms. With a wicked smile, she says, “A Yan's lips are too pale. Let big sis help you with that.”
Scene two: “Lanlan, I'm not hungry.”
Before Lan Xi can speak, Wen Yan looks at her with a faint smile. “I'm just heading back so you can enjoy yourself.”
At twenty, Wen Yan is a blank slate, teased by Lan Xi every day.
At twenty-five, Wen Yan is still a blank slate, but now Lan Xi can't handle him.
“I'll bear Lanlan's hardships for her. I only wish for her to have a sky full of stars.”, Wen Yan
“My life has been far too winding, but you are the only starry sea in my eyes.”, Lan Xi
