The Beautiful Airhead Consort Has His Majesty the Emperor Chasing After Her

PS: [A clear-eyed, pampered imperial consort + an arrogant, possessive emperor]

Being transmigrated as a famous courtesan would be better than becoming the emperor's woman. At least as an art student, she could make a living performing. But what could she do in the palace? Sell her body for favor? One careless mistake, and she might not even get a proper burial.

Shen Mei was despairing over her identity. She was neither the heroine who was the emperor's first love nor the vicious supporting character from a powerful family. She was just one of the male lead's concubines, not even granted a rank yet, with no power, influence, or money. And to make matters worse, she had a face that could captivate anyone. She thought even a disposable extra had it better than she did.

There was no choice: if she failed to win favor, she would die. But she didn't want to compete for it either. So why not cling to the heroine and lie low until the emperor kicked the bucket?

Unexpectedly, the heroine, who should have been cherished above all, was sent to the Cold Palace. Shen Mei was puzzled. Where was her heroine's halo?

Only when she herself became the most favored imperial consort in the six palaces did Shen Mei finally realize she might have turned her fortunes around.

She had thought a ruler's love couldn't be relied on. Even the heroine, who bore him children, met a miserable end. So she secretly resolved to change the ending and become the most powerful woman in the realm.

But the emperor, that bastard, quietly put her on that throne with his own hands.
