Making It in the Entertainment Industry

Heiress Yu Jiao runs away from home to avoid the marriage her family arranged for her. She dreams of making it big in the entertainment industry on her own, but before she can get anywhere, she runs into her nemesis: the genius director Ke Jing. At her first audition, he tears into her so badly she’s left utterly humiliated. Then, while grabbing a late-night snack, she accidentally scratches his luxury car. Since she’s run away from home, she can’t afford to pay for the damage, so she has no choice but to work as his assistant. For three months, he works her like a pack mule on set. Yu Jiao wants nothing more than to tear Ke Jing limb from limb. But just as she finishes plotting her revenge, the jerk suddenly abandons his usual arrogance and starts sweet-talking her. He’s even willing to give up his dream of becoming a director and go home to inherit the family fortune for her.
