The Glazed Coffin

The year I was born, my father dug a glass coffin out of a well. Not long afterward, the spirit medium on the island announced that my mother was pregnant. On the day I was born, the weather turned strangely, and soon after, my grandfather was bitten to death by a swarm of snakes from the glass coffin. The island's spirit medium said I was ill-omened and would bring disaster upon my whole family. Once grown, I would bring glory to my family and blessings to all humanity. Everyone had a different story, and no one knew who was telling the truth...
