I'm Done with You

Song Man was a little dumpling: petite, with a fair face, and a soft, unhurried voice. She was never one to get worked up or lose her temper. Fu Shengyan had been married to her for three years. When he had something to take out on, he’d kick the dog; when he didn’t, he’d take a bite out of her. Then one day, his tooth broke, and the dumpling turned into a rock in an instant. Song Man: “I want a divorce.” Fu Shengyan: “I’ll buy you a purse.” Song Man: “I want a divorce.” Fu Shengyan: “A limited-edition one. Only a few in the world.” Even when Song Man walked out without looking back, Fu Shengyan still couldn’t figure out what she really wanted. All the special treatment she’d once received had, in the end, accumulated into disappointment in their marriage.
