Siheyuan: Taking Down the Beasts from the Start

Rong Chaoyang, a young man from the twenty-first century, was a senior engineer at a state-owned enterprise. While researching special materials, he worked himself to exhaustion and suddenly died at the institute. He transmigrated into the world of "Love Fills the Courtyard" and became an inconspicuous ordinary tenant in a courtyard house. He had once enjoyed a happy family life and had even nearly married Qin Huairu. Unfortunately, his good fortune did not last. His parents suddenly passed away, and he never expected Qin Huairu to be a woman who despised the poor and fawned on the rich. She married Jia Dongxu, a fellow resident of the courtyard, and not only smeared his name but also tried to take over the two rooms in his home. That was when Rong Chaoyang finally snapped. He fought his way through, taking down every beast in the entire courtyard. Gradually, he used his twenty-first-century knowledge and experience to rise rapidly through the ranks, becoming an engineer at the steel mill. Then, ding-dong! The System activated successfully. After that, Rong Chaoyang's life just kept getting better and better, but the beasts in the courtyard could no longer sit still. To take advantage of him and satisfy their beastly desires, they cooked up one petty scheme and little conspiracy after another.
